So League of Angels 2 has come out from GTArcade, the obvious sequel to their League of Angels MMORPG. So far it is in Open Beta, and last night I was playing around with it. I downloaded their desktop LOA2.exe file and pressed start. As you all know I do like their League of Angels: Fire Raiders for the mobile platform and dabbled with the original for a little while.
The tutorial takes no more than 10 minutes to get into, but as with the rest of the League of Angels games, you progress through the different PVE levels, activating more heros as you collect them, and upgrading them with different items that you get through the levels. From their Fire Raiders game, I’ve liked that extremely.
I do like that they’ve started working in three dimensional graphics into the browser based game.It honestly shows how much we can now push our web-browser in terms of graphics instead of having it be an installed game on our PC.
The downside I have with LOA2, is that you can’t adjust the volume of the game until you are done with the tutorial completely and able to adjust the settings. The initial volume is extremely loud and if you have headphones like I do, you can keep them off and still hear everything just fine.
The other problem I have with the game is that you have to wait until you are level 11 or higher to unlock another spot for your heros. I know its not much, but I’m used to Fire Raiders where I have five heros out and pumping as much DPS as possible.
That’s it for now though. Just my first imperssions from what I played last night and will be probably playing later on today.
