Yesterday brought out the new “step chest” of the Spectral Elite Shadowforged armor. Shadowforged isn’t achievable by any means other than paying for gems so that you can get the pieces. Dragonforged is still unobtainable to those that are free to play as well. And those that are free to play, have the best Epic type armors in the game by this point because of heroics and other rewards.

Knights and Dragons is going to die. Its that simple. The game has become far too pay to win and a lot of people are starting to quit because there is no point in playing this game with dragonforged being given to those in the top 30.

Everything is pointing to this game dying if Gree doesn’t turn it self around and realize that they are removing their free to play player base.

Like in my last frustration post, Gree can EASILY fix this by making dragonforged easier to obtain through rewards, even if it is the earliest versions of dragonforged, and start listening to the community that is free to play. Just by giving dragonforged as rewards to the top 500 guilds, you are now making milestone rewards a lot more doable without having to gem.

All in all though, I love the game but I hate where the game developer’s direction is going with it to the point where I might walk away from the game.
