Again?

Yep.

Pregnant, again.

Wifey took a pregnancy test back on her birthday, and it came back positive. Excited to tell people, I wound up telling people on my route before telling my mom on father’s day with Meredith wearing a “Big Sister” shirt.

I went to the ultrasound at 12 weeks to see how the baby, affectionately called Peapod because we don’t know the gender yet, was doing. They did the blood work for screenings, as well as gender.

Just the other day, she found out the results and knows the gender as well as our neighbor who’s going to help with the gender reveal.

With this pregnancy, things have been different with wifey. She has been more nauseous than she was during the first, has been having more cravings, and is even more tired.

As I’m feeding Meredith the day Dina found out the gender, Meredith stares over my shoulder and says “Bob.”

I’ve heard of stories of where you look at different points with your eyes and you are able to trigger memories. I think in that moment in the exact way she was laying on my arm, it triggered memories I had forgotten.

When I was little I always wanted to eat at Bob’s Big Boy or Bob Evan’s on our way to my grandparents. Subsequently my dad, would say “Hey Bob. HEYYYYYY Bob” to get my attention about something. Meredith for the last 2 weeks has been saying “Bob” and occasionally pointing at Dina’s belly and saying “Bob.”

I tell Dina all of this and her face goes beet red and she starts laughing because she’s trying to keep a secret from me so that I’m surprised and just says: “I don’t know. It’s probably a girl.”

We go to the store the other night and I’m looking st stuff and I’m in front of camo crocs for infants and she says “those would be nice” and then finds pink ones and blurts out “I like these too.” Ugh.

One month then I’ll know.
