Canada Day 6

I wake up to my work alarm at 630am. First time all week that alarm had to wake me up.

Breakfast was scrambled eggs and bacon with toast.

It’s officially the coldest day we’ve had up here and I can tell dad’s cold. It’s cloudy and windy like the day before but we can also see our breath. Dad suggests we stay in and try to wait for the sun to peak out. We stayed in, going out every so often to try and catch the last two walleye that we needed to max out on our quota for the week.

Dinner was haddock and a creme brulee desert.

Dad and I sorted out our gear for the dock hands to bring to the luggage boat while we still fished off the dock for the last two walleye. I wound up catching a 23.5 inch off the dock and Dad caught the last two walleye to take home.

We packed up our rods and reels and tackle boxes, and brought them down to the luggage boat for tomorrow morning.

930pm and dad’s already asleep. I’m struggling to fall asleep but I’m playing games to help me fall asleep.
